Professional Bio

Welcome, my name is Caitlin Chiller and I am the special education resource teacher at Park High School. I am originally from Hot Springs, South Dakota and a graduate of San Francisco State University and MSU-Bozeman. I've lived and taught in Montana for the last ten years working at school districts as an English teacher. I am passionate about student growth and learning and I believe that all students can be successful at school. My interest in learning about teaching has taken me to Nagasaki, Japan and Kolkata, India where I've had the opportunity to observe and participate in classrooms. In Montana I've served as the president of the Montana Association of Teachers of English Language Arts and in 2017 I was awarded the National Council of Teachers of English "High School Teacher of Excellence Award" for the state of Montana. When I'm not in the classroom I am exploring ghost towns around Montana, hiking with my dog Moose, or watching the latest binge-worthy show on Netflix.
