I grew up in Minnesota, and moved to Montana when I was just 18 and headed to college at the University of Montana. There, I acquired a bachelors degree in Physics/Astronomy accompanied by a minor in Mathematics. After graduation, I decided that my travel bug needed to be fixed so I moved to New Zealand and then Australia for a period of time. It was while I was there, working at a science museum, that I found my passion for teaching science. Since, I have earned a Master's of Science in Science Education and a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I am licensed to teach Physics and Mathematics in Montana.
